Summary
No account is needed. Your files stay on your device and are never uploaded to us. The app uses Google AdMob for ads and Google Play Billing for the optional Pro upgrade. It does not use analytics or crash reporting.
1. Documents and data on your device
- Markdown, text and PDF files you open, the PDFs you create and your settings are handled on your device.
- We do not have access to your files and do not receive copies of them.
- PDFs you save or share go only where you choose.
2. Storage access
The app accesses only the files you pick with the system file picker or open from another app. It does not request "All files access" and does not scan your other files.
3. Remote images
Images hosted on the internet inside a document are loaded only if you enable this option. When enabled, your device requests those images from the servers that host them, which may see your IP address.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, including optional rewarded videos that unlock a temporary Pro Pass. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and device information to serve and measure ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings, Google, Ads).
5. Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The optional Pro upgrade is offered as monthly, 3-month and yearly subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not see or store your payment details.
6. No analytics or crash reporting
Markdown to PDF does not use an analytics or crash-reporting service and does not send us usage data. Google Play may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics such as install counts and crash rates, under Google's privacy policy.
7. No account, no selling of data
The app has no sign-in. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Retention and deletion
Your files remain in the locations where you saved them. Uninstalling the app removes the app's own data from your device.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the new version and effective date will be posted on this page.
